The Rowe family Carol, Jason, Rebecca and myself arrived in this city inhabited by thirty thousand. It is the ancient city of Denia. We found our Denia hotel with many bars and little traditional restaurants. We were impressed by the fact that I had arranged for our rental car company to retrieve us from the arrival level of the Alicante Airport and drive us to our Denia hotel. When arranging our trip I used the Internet to secure our hotel, rental car and many of the attractions in and around Denia.Just remember that Denia during the summer period is very hot. This is a working ancient city with a huge fishing fleet and is a city that makes its living from tourism. Out tour guide informed us that Denia offers the world one of the most important harbors in Europe. Here you can get connection by ferry to the island of Ibiza, Mallorca among others.
